Explore the vast expanse of space as the first robo-reporter

Times & Galaxy is an adventure game. It's a point-and-click game and you play as an intern, the first robot-reporter for a famous holopaper in the Dorp system. Your job is to uncover the most interesting stories across the solar system. You can choose from a variety of assignments, like investigating shuttle crashes or attending space ghost funerals.

What makes Times & Galaxy special is how you interact with over 100 characters. You'll need to talk to them, ask questions, and gather information. Every choice you make affects the outcome of your articles and your reputation as a reporter.

Breaking news across the stars

In Times & Galaxy, after each assignment, you use the Build-a-Story™ tool to write your article. Depending on how well you investigated and who you talked to, you'll have different options for your story. But the game isn't just about reporting. You’ll get to explore the Scanner, a big newsroom in space where you live and work. You'll meet lots of different characters, like other reporters, editors, and the ship's crew.

In the entirety of the game, you can even customize your robo-reporter's look and upgrade its abilities. Between assignments, you can do things like restore the ship's garden or just relax and recharge. There's always something new to discover and explore on the Scanner. However, The game's mechanics and systems may have a steep learning curve for some players, requiring time to master.

Despite the variety of assignments, some players may find the gameplay repetitive over extended play sessions. Players seeking action-packed gameplay may find the game lacking in adrenaline-fueled sequences. While the game features a diverse cast of characters, some may feel that the depth of character development is lacking, impacting immersion. The game's interface may feel clunky or unintuitive at times, hampering the overall user experience and impeding player engagement.

In Softonic we scan all the files hosted on our platform to assess and avoid any potential harm for your device. Our team performs checks each time a new file is uploaded and periodically reviews files to confirm or update their status. This comprehensive process allows us to set a status for any downloadable file as follows:

Clean

It’s extremely likely that this software program is clean.

What does this mean?

We have scanned the file and URLs associated with this software program in more than 50 of the world's leading antivirus services; no possible threat has been detected.

Warning

This software program is potentially malicious or may contain unwanted bundled software.

Why is the software program still available?

Based on our scan system, we have determined that these flags are possibly false positives.

What is a false positive?

It means a benign program is wrongfully flagged as malicious due to an overly broad detection signature or algorithm used in an antivirus program.
